VitusVet’s technology will be used in more than 90 animal hospitals in the Pet Partners network as a result of a new partnership agreement.
Pet Partners has a community of animal hospitals in numerous states, including three in Maryland. Baltimore-based VitusVet offers a platform that allows for digital communication between veterinary practices and pet owners. The tools, including appointment scheduling and reminders, medical record sharing and text messaging, will be integrated into business management resources offered by Pet Partners.

They’ve worked with our team to meet the unique needs of our community of hospitals,” said Steve Ireland, VP marketing and communications for Pet Partners, in a statement. “The VitusVet platform met all our requirements: the right functionality, features that match the needs of a corporate group, and an easy implementation process all supported by a responsive team.”
The partnership follows news that Nationwide Insurance invested in VitusVet. The company relocated to Baltimore city this year from Columbia, and has been making key hiring moves. VitusVet plans to continue hiring for the remainder of the year, CEO Dr. Mark Olcott said earlier this month.
