“VEDA Labs seeks to be a leader in interdisciplinary research as a scientific response to the world’s data revolution,” Dr. Alyssa Adams of VEDA said in a statement. “The purpose of VEDA Labs is to rethink industry-standard approaches to data prediction by bringing together a diverse set of scientific fields that have been independently asking these questions for years, from network niche construction in mathematics to collective decision making in psychology.”
The postdoctoral fellowship is a fully funded one- to two-year position for researchers seeking to dig deeper into a slew of data processing topics. Fellows will propose research in response to data problems hindering the delivery of healthcare and will collaborate with product designers, engineers and market experts to measure the impact of their work.
The compensation package includes a $60,000 annual salary, health insurance, professional development resources, mentorship, cybersecurity training and a monthly lunch-and-learn series.
