Here’s where you’ll find this creative technologist at Philly Tech Week

Uri Pierre Noel's #PTW15 itinerary features Techniculture, an event from the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance aimed at building relationships between the arts and tech communities.

Name: Uri Pierre Noel
Neighborhood: University City (Cedar Park)
Job: Founder of Neuro Native Labs, an experience design lab
Side Project: Building programming for ArtsTechPhilly and launching this year’s ARTnude Philly show. I’m also working with some amazing folks on the Pearl Street Passage Project from Design Philly (I’m always knee deep in art and tech!)
Here’s my itinerary for Philly Tech Week:

1. PSLU Accelerator Demo Day

This past fall I had the great experience of being a part of the PSLU Bootcamp. I had such a great time learning more about technology startups that I launched my first venture this past January. I’m excited to see this showcase of local startups, products and more. As a founder, it’s great to meet some really great and like-minded people. (Tuesday, April 21, 4:30-7:30 p.m.)

2. Techniculture

Full disclosure, by way of ArtsTechPhilly I am helping promote this event. However, this event is sure to be full of some amazing presentations, that will highlight technology and art partnerships. I began my career in the art world as an art dealer, and I am interested in the technology is shaping the art world. (Friday, April 17, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)

3. Arcade @ Dilworth

Yes, this is my favorite event for Philly Tech Week. Any excuse to play video games and hang out with friends is a win. The endless lists of new games, maker shops and performances are a perfect mix for me. Now that I’m working in experience design, I’m really interested in learning more about how other design teams are shaping new experiences. (Friday, April 17, 6-9 p.m.)

4. PTW Mayoral Forum

I’m also looking forward to meeting the Mayoral candidates and hearing them discuss their visions for Philadelphia. There are so many issues that they’ll need to address, and it’s important to me that I inform myself. Since I jumped headfirst in the Philly tech scene, it has boomed, and I want the next Mayor to work to continue that progress. (Monday, April 20, 5:30-7:30 p.m.)

5. PSL Entrepreneur Expo

More startup demos! One thing I really love about Philly is that everyone roots for the home team. So it’s always great to meet other entrepreneurs, and to learn more about the problems they’re trying to solve. I can’t wait to learn about the teams I don’t know. (Wednesday, April 22, 7-10 p.m.)
