Another food delivery service is entering Baltimore, and this time it’s Uber.
UberEATS launched at 8 a.m. Thursday in the city, and the company says food from restaurants like The Helmand, Faidley’s, Water for Chocolate and Birroteca is available.
The service runs through an area bounded by Locust Point, Loyola University, Druid Hill Park and Dundalk. Here’s a map:

The food delivery service is available through a separate mobile or web app from the ridesharing service, but drivers can work for either service.
It’s the latest food delivery arrival in a town where Amazon already began its own similar service and OrderUp launched. Uber’s food service has been in expansion mode, setting up in Brooklyn and Philly over the summer.
