Mustang fans — some 8,000 of them — gathered in a Berks County raceway on June 16 to profess their love for the muscle car, as part of Turn5’s annual AmericanMuscle Mustang Show.
At Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pa., the car show featured some 2,000 ‘stangs and raised 117,068 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a cause dear to the Paoli-based ecommerce company.
“This was a big year for Turn5 and AmericanMuscle as we celebrate 10 years in what started out as a customer appreciation event and has quickly grown into the largest gathering of Mustang enthusiasts from all around the country,” said Steve Voudouris, co-founder and CEO of Turn5.
The show featured included exhibition races, revving competitions and performance part demos.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox was part of the event’s opening ceremony. He also signed autographs and hung out with Make-A-Wish families.
