Forty is the magic number for Trending 40’s July 13 event celebrating some of the younger entrepreneurs in the D.C. region: Top 40 Entrepreneurs Under 40.
Started in 2016 by Doug Anderson, founder of DCA Media and career networking platform GEN Z, Trending 40 is an events program that has recognized local talent in the tech, legal and corporate communities since January. So far, the gatherings have honored women of D.C. tech, cyber innovators and entrepreneurs and more.
The list of founders and startups for the July 13 event taking place at 1776’s Crystal City space include Alan Clifford, cofounder of food delivery company Galley, which recently started making kids’ lunches, and Raymond Rahbar, CEO of the ever-expanding MakeOffices. Baltimore’s Jess Gartner, CEO of edtech startup Allovue, is even included.
Trending 40 has also been profiling each of the 40 honorees on its Facebook page since last month.
Early-bird pricing for the event lasts through today for $69, with prices jumping to $99 afterward. Proceeds will benefit the GEN Z scholarship fund.
