Every startup venture stems from a simple idea.

But where do you begin when its time to turn that idea into an actual business?

It’s no secret that D.C.’s startup scene is thriving, from on-demand manufacturing marketplace Xometry landing a $5 million investment to Arcadia Power being selected to participate in the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers 2019 program, local companies have been making major moves.

To help entrepreneurs who are thinking about launching a business, GSP Financial + Advisory is hosting this event this week. From marketing strategy, to hiring and more, on Wednesday, July 17, a panel of startup experts will share tips on how to successfully launch a venture.

Kelly Miller, Tech, Rebalanced co-organizer and communications strategist and director at Banner Public Affairs, will be one of the experts speaking on the panel.

Miller brings her entrepreneurial communication experience from working with startups to Fortune 500 companies. She was one of the people who spearheaded Tech, Rebalanced’s rebrand from Tech Lady Hackathon last year. She will be joined on the panel by Mike Ravenscroft, managing partner at re:Founded, Max Moyer, principal at TRIUMPH LAW and Zachary Giegel, cofounder of GSP Financial + Advisory.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and will be held at WeWork Labs at 80 M Street SE.
