Baltimore, Md.-based Charm City Concierge recently launched a tenant experience app available in select D.C. office buildings.
Launched in 1993, the firm activates and facilitates communities and tenant experiences in a lot of D.C. buildings. Charm City Concierge also has a local office in Herndon, Va., where 75 of its employees work, PR rep Caitlin Wolf told Technical.ly. The Simpli app is a full service platform that enables building landlords to elevate workplace experiences, building amenities, and programming, all while streamlining communication with tenants, a press release states.
“We’ve taken our extensive expertise in concierge, tenant engagement and curating meaningful experiences, and built a social engagement platform around it, activated through Simpli,” Christina Urquhart, Founder and CEO of Charm City Concierge, said in a statement. “These three components, Concierge Services and Experience Management complemented by technology (Simpli), make up the differentiated workplace experience that the industry expects today.”
With the app, tenants can access wellness programs, concierge services, building amenities, an events calendar and more. Landlords can collect data to improve workplace experiences, offer convenience and concierge services directly through the app ad communicate more effectively through push notifications.
This competing tech is similar to HqO, a tenant experience software offered in Divco West’s Washington, D.C., property located at 1133 15th St NW. The HqO app launched at that location in February, when Divco also announced plans to expand the tech to more of its buildings.
Charm City Concierge reported working with more than 300 mixed-used properties and corporations throughout the DMV and Philadelphia regions. Wolf told Technical.ly that 70 percent of the firm’s business is in D.C.-area CRE buildings, with 25 years of experience working in the D.C. market.
