In February, we compiled a list of Black-owned businesses in Delaware, from Wilmington to Rehoboth, which we’ve been adding to as people contact us with additions.
As people are looking for ways to support Black-owned businesses in Delaware right now, as Black Lives Matters protests continue globally, a graphic designer from Newark named Annie Estes reached out to us to ask if she could turn the list into Instagram-friendly graphic tiles.
“I wanted to do this because redirecting your wealth towards supporting black businesses is an easy way anyone can help close the racial wealth gap, celebrate black influence in our communities, strengthen our local economy, and fight against systemic racism,” Estes said.
