Gliknik in BioPark raises $10M [Startup Roundup]

who’s getting funded?

Cyber Reliant Corp., based in Annapolis, has raised $475,000 in debt of an offered $2 million according to SEC filings. The cybersecurity company “provides ‘on-demand’ cyber solutions to public and commercial-sector organizations.”
CloudBolt Software, based in Rockville, has raised $1,125,000 in options of an offered $2,000,000, according to SEC filings. The software company produces a cloud management platform that integrates different cloud IT resources.
Gliknik, based in the University of Maryland BioPark, has raised $9.8 million in equity of an offered $15 million, according to SEC filings. The biopharmaceuticals company creates “new therapies for patients with cancer and immune disorders.”

who’s making moves?

Engineering startup Sustainable Infrastructure of North America LLC is in the process of raising angel funding to produce its first product, aesir. BmoreMedia reports that the “aesir system will contain three-dimensional, ground-penetrating radar, laser profiling and digital imaging” for the purpose of replacing existing bridge inspection equipment. The Towson-based startup hopes to raise $115,000 by the middle of this year.
Interactive marketing and design agency idfive, which offers web design and social media services, relocated its offices from downtown to Hampden, according to BmoreMedia, to accommodate four new hires it plans to make. The company presently employs 16 people.
Columbia-based cybersecurity firm Sourcefire named John Becker its new CEO earlier this month. Becker had been the “CEO of ScienceLogic, a Reston, Va., company that sells network monitoring software and services,” according to the Baltimore Sun.
