Organized by ETC, October 11 is Baltimore Innovation Week's Business Day. Here's a look at the full schedule of entrepreneurial leaders offering lessons throughout the day.

The team at ETC has taken a fresh approach to this year’s Baltimore Innovation Week, curating focused content for each day of the week.
On Thursday, October 11, they’re organizing a day of events for entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses. The events are free and will all take place at ETC’s Haven Campus (101 N. Haven St., 3rd floor).

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM | How to Sell and Love Doing It

(presented by McDonell Consulting Group)
If you’re a morning person and looking to enhance your sales skills, kick off the day with Chris Caldwell from Sandler Training. This workshop will cover the different challenges that entrepreneurs face during the sales process and how to overcome them. You’ll walk away with techniques to immediately take back to your team.

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Founders Feast: A Panel on Innovation

(presented by Goldman Sachs 10KSB)
This event will feature alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in Baltimore. They’ll discuss their entrepreneurial journey, how the program helped them grow and continue to innovate.
Enjoy some lunch and hear a panel from the following speakers:

1:30 PM – 6:00 PM | Startup Global

(presented by U.S. Commercial Service)
This event will feature a variety of discussions with entrepreneurs, business and government around the need for startups to develop international strategies and how to go global.
Topics include:

  • The opportunity: Local startups in the global marketplace
  • Navigating international compliance and protecting IP
  • Finding help: Understanding how to access the resources to reach new markets
