For those in need of a little end-of-summer relaxation, an app that delivers a massage to your door is set to debut in Baltimore next month.
Soothe is planning to be up and running in the city on Sept. 1 as part of a wider expansion that will see the Los Angeles-based startup in 50 cities by the end of the year, according to info provided by the company.
The service allows customers to select from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Prenatal massage, and they are performed by a massage therapist. Each form of massage is also available in couples format. Massages are available outside standard business hours, from 8 a.m.-midnight.
Soothe vets the therapists through in-person interviews and checks on certifications and customer interviews.
