This new healthcare provider lets you Skype with your doctor

R-Health is a direct-care provider, which means that its patients don't pay with insurance. Instead, they pay a monthly subscription fee (it starts at $79 and there are also group rates).

Need to contact your doctor? With a new Center City provider, you can choose between Skype, email, text message or phone.

R-Health is a direct-care provider, which means that its patients don’t pay with insurance. Instead, they pay a monthly subscription fee (it starts at $79 and there are also group rates).

Founded by Andy Robinson and Wharton graduate Mason Reiner, R-Health boasts 24/7 access to its doctors.

Don’t come into the doctor’s office if you don’t absolutely need to, R-Health says. Text your doctor using secure software or Skype with her first.

It currently employs four clinicians and three corporate staffers.
