Philly Tech Week gives folks the chance to explore their interests IRL and get involved with the local technology community through 100 different events. But did you know you can show off your own organization to PTW19 attendees, too, through demo opportunities?

We at Technical.ly are encouraging applicants to introduce their apps, games and other devices during Philly Tech Week 2019 presented by Comcast by inviting organizations, startups and individuals to apply to demo at the following events:

PTW19 Kickoff Festival x First Friday

The PTW19 Kickoff Festival x First Friday welcomes companies and organizations in Old City to open their doors and show off their work to the public — think of it as a big public party.

For this event, we recommend out-of-neighborhood businesses bring along their interactive gadgets such as games, virtual reality demonstrations or other types of interactive technology to exhibit for fest attendees. Since First Friday is known for featuring the creative artistic community in Philadelphia, we’ll be looking for demos that highlight the arts.

Introduced by Technical.ly

During the course of the week Technical.ly will host a one day conference, Introduced by Technical.ly, to “introduce” you to content, ideas, companies and more within three tracks (aligned with our everyday editorial coverage): Grow, Message and Impact. Within Introduced, there will be a rotating demo floor which features three different categories: Discover, Get Involved and Play.

  • “Discover” will be centered primarily on new interactive technologies and how they are being used.
  • “Get Involved” will focus on nonprofit and volunteer organizations and their contributions to the city.
  • “Play” will be similar to the kickoff event, as it will welcome all types of fun and interactive experiences.

Signature Event

Another great opportunity for companies and startups to show off their demos is the annual Signature Event. This function wraps up Philly Tech Week with a technology expo and celebration for Philadelphia’s tech community.

All of these events have open spots for you to apply and show off your 3D printer, virtual reality game, drones or any other interactive components you want to share!
