See Sean Martorana’s paper-cut mural in the Arcweb office

The Indy Hall Arts organizer has helped beautify the offices of several tech companies in town. His latest will likely change with the seasons.

Arcweb unveiled Sean Martorana’s 1,000-square-foot paper-cut mural at its open house last week.
Martorana, who knows Arcweb CEO Chris Cera from their days at coworking space Indy Hall, worked on the project for about a year.
The idea was to create a tech-inspired work of art that could adorn the walls of the Old City office, but it had to be somewhat impermanent, since tech companies are always outgrowing their offices. He considered a mapping projection but opted instead for a paper-cut mural, which you can easily pull on or off the walls and move around as you like. Martorana envisions moving pieces around as the seasons change.
Martorana’s work can also be found in Wildbit’s new Old City office and RJMetrics’ Center City office. He also curates art shows for Indy Hall Arts.
See photos below.

Tomorrow night @arcweb is having their annual open house and this time it’s the first public reveal of the 1000+ sq ft murals I did surrounding their office. The walls are designed with geometric shapes and forms cutout of movable adhesive paper to create a digital world using analog techniques. As the seasons change the leaves on the trees come and go. The stars are able to be moved into new constellations. Experience this new world with us. A large detailed project that is finally at a point of completion. Join us tomorrow night, happy hour time, 5:00 – 8:00, 234 Market St., Philadelphia.
