Arcweb unveiled Sean Martorana’s 1,000-square-foot paper-cut mural at its open house last week.
Martorana, who knows Arcweb CEO Chris Cera from their days at coworking space Indy Hall, worked on the project for about a year.
The idea was to create a tech-inspired work of art that could adorn the walls of the Old City office, but it had to be somewhat impermanent, since tech companies are always outgrowing their offices. He considered a mapping projection but opted instead for a paper-cut mural, which you can easily pull on or off the walls and move around as you like. Martorana envisions moving pieces around as the seasons change.
Martorana’s work can also be found in Wildbit’s new Old City office and RJMetrics’ Center City office. He also curates art shows for Indy Hall Arts.
