Revolution Growth adds new partner

Steve Murray joins the D.C.-based VC firm after 20 years at SoftBank.

On Tuesday Revolution Growth, the D.C.-based VC firm founded by Steve CaseTed Leonsis and Donn Davis, announced the addition of a new partner.
Steve Murray comes to Revolution with 20 years of experience at SoftBank, investing in companies like E-Trade, Fitbit, BuzzFeed and more. “Steve’s track record of investing in successful, high-growth companies makes him the perfect addition to the Revolution team,” Davis said in a statement.
Murray is joining in expanding team at Revolution — he is the fund’s fourth new hire in the past three months.
