The report covered 125 national economies and 114 cities from around the world looking at five different pillars: the ability cities have to enable, attract, grow and retain talent, along with an ability to “be global,” CNBC reported. The District ranked in the top 10 in the “enable,” “grow” and “attract” categories while ranking No. 3 in its ability to be global.
Its steady economy, dynamic population, outstanding infrastructure and connectivity, highly-skilled workforce and world class education are all characteristics which contribute to making the city such a talent hub, the companies who created the report said in a statement about the District.
