Need something new to listen to on your commute? Want to speed your understanding of a complicated industry at the same time?

Montgomery County-headquartered advocacy group Life Sciences Pennsylvania has you covered with its “Being a Life Sciences Leader” podcast.

Chris Molineaux, Life Sciences PA president and CEO, and Rachael Bushey, life sciences partner and co-managing partner of the Philadelphia office at Goodwin Proctor, returned this fall for a fourth season as the podcast’s hosts to chat with leaders in the life sciences field about their experiences in and opinions of the industry.

Launched in May 2022, the podcast covers professionals working in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices diagnostics and other life sciences services to give a wide viewpoint of the industry.

The latest guest is Randy Hubbell, the former CEO of South Side-based biotech company Carmell Therapeutics, which went public on the Nasdaq via SPAC in July. As of Sept. 1, Hubbell stepped down to become an advisor to new chairman and CEO Rajiv Shukla.

In his episode, Hubbell discussed “the importance of humility and persevering as a leader in the life sciences industry” as well as “building a culture within a start-up company, his role in creating a new brand identity and how he led a successful transition to a publicly traded company,” per Life Sciences PA.

Listen to Hubbell and other pros talk about their experiences on Apple PodcastsSpotify or the Life Sciences PA website.
