Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP, Delaware’s oldest law firm, is hosting an event that should be of interest to businesses new, old, big and small. This seminar, dubbed “Protecting Your Business: Cyber Threats, Employees and Financial Security,” will happen on May 16, 2017.
The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with registration, networking and breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m. It’s to be held at the DuPont Country Club.
Here, from the release containing the event’s details, is what’s on tap for attendees.

  • How to increase your resilience in the face of cyber-attacks and your ability to return to profitable operations. Potter Anderson partner William Denny will highlight essential first steps to develop a cyber security plan, managing cyber risk in your vendor relationships, and promises and pitfalls of cyber liability insurance.
  • How to manage and protect one of your most important business assets: your employees. Potter Anderson partner Jennifer Gimler Brady will cover the pros and cons of various employment-related agreements and provisions, particularly with regard to employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Help you create your financial security. Our guest speaker from UFinancial Group, Victor Dupuis, will discuss business protection and succession planning.
