An expert in the semantic web is set to join a Boston data company. Sam Chance was hired as Managing Director of Pre-Sales by Cambridge Semantics. Chance will still be based in Baltimore. In a Q&A published on the company’s website, Chance talks more about semantic technologies, and bringing interoperability to IT systems.

OptioLabs named Eileen Mercilliott as Vice President of Product Management. Mercillott was previously Director of Product Management at the Camden Yards-based mobile cybersecurity company. In January, we talked to recently-named CEO Bill Anderson about the company’s plans to ramp up sales of its mobile security platform for Android this year.
Under Armour will have a new CFO for the second time in as many years. Chip Molloy’s last day with the company is Friday. UA said earlier this week that Molloy is stepping down for personal reasons. Senior VP David Bergman will be interim CFO. The announcement came with news of disappointing sales over the holidays, Fortune reported. Former CFO Brad Dickerson stepped down in early 2016.
