Scholly’s Chris Gray, Penn’s Adam Grant get some Oprah love

Two locals nabbed a spot on the SuperSoul 100 list put together by Oprah Winfrey’s OWN: Scholly cofounder Chris Gray and Wharton super-prof Adam Grant. (TIL Grant was a junior Olympic springboard diver growing up in Michigan.)
The list, according to its website, is a “collection of 100 awakened leaders who are using their voices and talent to elevate humanity.” It includes some big names like Arianna Huffington and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Gray actually had a chance to meet Winfrey and take a quick picture. “She was graceful and kind and surprisingly down to earth,” he said in a short email to Technical.ly.
It’s been a crazy couple of years for Gray, right? He landed a commercial featuring his life story during the Oscars, rang the opening bell of the Nasdaq, landed $40,000 during ABC’s Shark Tank and won another $100,000 during Steve Case’s Rise of the Rest pitch competition.
