After two years and a lot of growth for NextFab, Director of Marketing Laate Olukotun is moving on to Thoughtfull Design Group in New Jersey.
While Olukotun was based in Philadelphia, where NextFab was founded, he played a major role in bringing NextFab to Wilmington, including designing and building out the location that opened at 503 N. Tatnall St. last summer.
“I’ve loved my time here at NextFab,” Olukotun said in a statement. “It’s amazing to think that I almost moved to the Bay Area in 2011 because I wanted access to tech opportunities. Instead I lucked out and found NextFab at 3711 Market Street. I walked in and took a tour and walked out that day with a new membership. I had no idea that such an innocent trip would lead to such an incredible period of exploration and expansion in a city that I never really knew.”
Eric Kaplan, current business development manager for NextFab, will now fill the marketing director role.
