In the large open floor plan of Emerging Technology Center’s new space on North Haven Street, more than 160 job seekers met with 20 local hiring companies at NET/WORK, a local tech jobs fair last week organized by Baltimore.
With openings from project manager to PHP developer to web development instructor, the crowd of seasoned developers, new-to-the-scene technologists and university students had their share of employment options to choose from.
Attendees were also given the opportunity to learn more about trends in dev languages Ruby and JavaScript from software engineers at Staq, get a crash course introduction to the Baltimore tech community from Betamore‘s CEO Mike Brenner and grab a free professional headshot from To Tony Productions, sponsored by Tenable Security Network.
