Monthly rents in Philadelphia are down six percent since January 2013, according to rental listings from an online service called Lovely, but monthly rent in West Philadelphia’s Cedar Park neighborhood jumped 18 percent from 2013 to 2014. Lovely gets its rental listings from more than 60 different data partners, said spokeswoman Elizabeth Pullman.
By contrast, rents went down in Graduate Hospital by seven percent, and rent in neighborhoods like Germantown and Center City East stayed the same.
