The progress women have made in managing wealth may have stalled.

After years of women outpacing men in wealth creation, the 2020 recession has been called — painfully, if clumsily — a “she-cession” due to the adverse affects on women. An annual report from UBS called “Own Your Wealth shows the majority of women in relationships with men take a secondary role.

It’s one of the driving reasons behind encouraging more women who do have the means to take a more active role in private business investing. That’s just the topic of a live recording tomorrow of Technical.ly’s Off the Sidelines investor education podcast.
