This Friday, watch the team from Little Baby’s Ice Cream make music by eating electrically-charged ice cream. We are not quite sure how that’s going to work, but it’s from the guys who created this ad, so it should be interesting, to say the least.
Sam Cusumano of plant music outfit Data Garden worked with Little Baby’s on the project. It’s part of an art installation and performance called Shooting Stars at the Philadelphia Art Alliance.
Get more information here. It’s $20 for dinner and $5 for admission.
Produced by artist and musician Jon Shapiro, the interactive art show includes an art installation called SPECTRUM, “a collection of Philadelphia artists’ responses to the recent PRISM scandal,” according to a press release. The installation is rigged to live tweet the event. Experimental theatre company New Paradise Labs will also debut the next installment of its Unnamable Spectacles series.
Below, watch a video from Newsworks for a preview of the ice cream music part of the show.
