Next week, the tables are turned.
A meetup on Jan. 19 hosted by Launch! Annapolis and the Chesapeake Innovation Center features a fireside chat with tech reporters. The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. at Yellowfin Steak & Fish House in Edgewater. The “Meet the Media” panel includes this reporter (hi!) and Morgan Eichensehr of the Baltimore Business JournalFitterWeb founder Jim Keeney is set to moderate.
The discussion will include actionable tips on approaching the media about a story.
Both of the organizing groups back startups in Anne Arundel County. Launch! Annapolis holds monthly meetups for entrepreneurs to network and get tips on building a business. Chesapeake Innovation Center is an incubator helping early stage companies that’s located directly outside Fort Meade in Odenton.
