Do you like sports? Do you like digital strategy? Well, we have great news. The University of Delaware is looking for someone like you.
A job posting recently went up on Inside Higher Ed calling for an associate athletic director with a specialization in communications and digital strategy. This position will be housed within the Department of Athletics.
The associate athletic director will mange and build a “data-driven” media relations team, focus on digital execution and serve as a part of the external relations team. Basically, create a bigger digital footprint for the university’s brand.

The position calls for qualifications of four to five years of experience with a “major professional, collegiate athletic departments or comparatively complex organizations.”
No official salary has been posted for the position but the posting indicates that the job falls under 32E pay grade, which ranges from $58,477  to $111,107 with a midpoint of $84,792, according to University of Delaware’s Office of Human Resources.
