Hey, this event might teach you how to write a decent press release

Not just for our sake, but for yours. Ours too, though.

Ah, the enigmatic press release. You’ve written draft after draft. You’ve swapped nearly every descriptor for a more vivid one. You’ve emailed a copy to every journalist in the region, and still no response.
Impress the Press, an event organized by the Delaware Economic Development Office, might shine some light on the rights and wrongs of your press release process by teaching you the “dos and don’ts” of the craft.
The event is on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino and features a handful of the state’s most experienced journalists and public relations specialists. Tickets are $20. Maybe go?
