The fine folks at Technical.ly (I really like typing that!) asked if I’d be interested in writing an article picking some of my favorite episodes of the Startup Soirée Podcast. Although our trove of content isn’t super deep yet, there are some really amazing episodes. Not saying they aren’t ALL good, but sometimes … it flows.
I’ve picked three episodes of the podcast and shared a few reasons why they’re my favorites. Hope you can see how incredible these people are and give them a listen! Without further adieu:
Startup Soirée Podcast 002 | Lee Morton | Mozell & Clickspark

  • Lee and I have been “industry acquaintances” for a few years now. Whenever we run into each other at events we’re always super chatty but usually don’t have any time to chat! This episode is great because we finally got a chance to talk without time constraints. Lee is such an inspiring person and his companies and art are exceptional.

Startup Soirée Podcast 008 | Jess D’Argenio Waller | Maketribe

  • I’ve had an affinity for the Maketribe brand since the very first time I saw it. Having spent time carefully curating a brand identity for Pixilated I could see the unique point of view. Jess is a really intelligent soul with a beautifully focused vision of where she’s going. This is one of my favorites because I spend so much time thinking about community, and Maketribe kinda crushes in that category.

Startup Soirée Podcast 014 | Dana Sicko | Gundalow Juice

  • This one is so easy for me. Dana’s business operates on the same compound we run Pixilated and Startup Soirée. She’s a regular part of my business life and an incredible personality to interact with. Her zeal and sincerity are brazenly apparent in her business point of view, and that’s totally on display in this episode. Plus, this lady, gets shit done.

Alright people, that’s what I got for you. If you check any of these podcasts out leave me some comments and let me know what you think below or on Twitter at @PatrickRife. I’m eager to hear your ideas! Also, stay tuned for more original content by me here on Technical.ly.
