Remarkable Ideas, the biennial pitch competition for woman entrepreneurs by Great Dames, is coming in October, with a prize pool of $25,000. But first, there are workshops. These workshops are free, and don’t require that you participate in Remarkable Ideas — though they might help give you the confidence to do it.

The workshops are:

The Ideation Workshop

  • Sept. 11, 5:30–7:00 p.m. at 1313 Innovation.

Led by Pauline Tartaglia and previous Remarkable Ideas winner Dr. Kimberly Nalda, participants will generate ideas interactively and learn how to transition them from concept to reality.

How to Pitch Workshop

  • Sept. 18, 5:30–7:00 p.m. at The Hub at 1201.

Led by Dr. Laura Sicola, founder of Vocal Impact Productions, who will show you how to create your own “killer pitch.”
