Kickstarter of the Week is a regular series highlighting the technology, creative and innovation Kickstarter campaigns in Baltimore that might be worth your support. See others here.
Good News Baltimore (GNB) is a film-news outfit that promotes itself as as “positive, progressive” news to “change to the negative perception of Baltimore on both local and national levels,” according to both its website and its Kickstarter page.
It’s now raising $12,000 through Kickstarter to create five new episodes (25 new segments) of the Good News (see what they did there?).
Donate to the GNB Kickstarter campaign here.
The documentary-style films GNB produces are about different community leaders directing social justice and social change initiatives underway in neighborhoods around Baltimore. Films are aired over public television and online.
