Galley will now bring you wine with your dinner

The meal delivery service is now even more full service.

On Tuesday, somewhere in the District, Galley first delivered a bottle of 2012 Tempranillo wine with a customer’s dinner. Or at least they offered to.
Galley’s newest added feature is offering wine alongside the startup’s gourmet meal-delivery service. What kind of wine, you ask? There were three options, ranging in price from $12 to $29, available on the first day of the new service.
All this is good news for those who don’t like to cook or are too busy to cook and are also too busy to stop by a liquor store. It’s a reminder that the on-demand economy is here for you.
Galley concurrently announced that it will be offering “family style” meals meant for four — perhaps as a way to expand its market beyond the single, time-pressed consumer.
