Galley is now delivering meals all the way from Raleigh, N.C., to upstate New York and many zip codes in between, bringing the D.C.-based food delivery startup to 10 states total.

Alexandra Lawrence, marketing director at Galley, said the company is offering next-day delivery in select cities for select meals.

“The meals are cooked the day you order, then they’re shipped in cold-packed boxes with ice packs and insulation and arrive at your doorstep the following day,” Lawrence told Technical.ly DC. “Next-day delivery is available to all customers who live in our shipping zones. Once you insert your address on our site, any meal that is live on the menu can be shipped next day.”

Using the Galley app, customers can order from a range of menus in their zones, from breakfast to dinner. Lawrence said the company decided to expand after noticing a high demand for quality, nutritional and convenient meals with delivery options.

“We launched next-day delivery to help our current customers send meals to loved ones, and to also introduce chef-made meals delivered to your door to parts of the country where it doesn’t currently exist,” Lawrence said.

All orders must be placed by 4:30 p.m. to qualify for next-day delivery.
