Social media manager Kate Coppwho leads the 2.0 charge at the Free Library of Philadelphia — was driving around Reading Terminal Market last year, trying to find a spot for her car. As she passed three library branches in a few blocks, she got the idea to track how long it would take to visit all 54 locations across the city.

And so she did.

Along with her husband Kevin Copp, who heads the video department for Temple University’s Athletic Department, she managed to visit all sites in 12 hours (including a cheesteak-fueled lunch break).

Copp traveled 115 miles in her husband’s Ford Focus to get from spot to spot. The couple plugged the locations into a mapping program that gave them an “optimal route.” The trek was chronicled in a seven-minute video that takes viewers all across town.

But besides the great-lookin’ content, what was the bigger purpose here?

“My hope was really just to show how important the libraries are to our city and how they are located in EVERY corner, and even though they’re all very different, they all have the same mission,” Copp told Technical.ly over a swift response DM.

Here’s the seven-minute vid:
