First State Comic Con adds winter event for 2018

Delaware's old-school comic convention is returning Jan. 14.

If you want movie stars, long lines and triple-digit tickets prices, go to Wizard World Philly. First State Comic Con, held at the Ladies Auxiliary Mill Creek Fire Company on Kirkwood Highway Jan. 14, is for comic book fans.

Started in 2012 by Ricky Comer, FSCC features local artists, tons of comic to buy, toy and craft vendors and special guests from the comic world, including but not limited to: Greg LaRoque (DC), Jack C. Harris (DC), Ron Wilson (Marvel), Neil Vokes (DC), Plb Comics, Kimerex, 21st Century Sandshark and Aspyre Comics.

Other events include a cosplay contest and a “Magnum PI Mustache Contest.”

First State Comic Con is on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry is just $3. Click here for more info.
