If you’re not taking advantage of the landscape of (often free) workshops to help your business or career navigate the ongoing COVID era, you’re missing out on a lot. The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Enterprise Center (EEC) has been rolling out workshops that deal with adapting to a more virtual world and the impact of COVID on your business.
Yes, the vaccine is officially here, but we’re far from ditching digital work — or from using solutions that are more digital than they’ve ever been before.
On Dec. 17 at 11 a.m., Wendy Rafferty of Cover & Rossiter will present the webinar “Running a Business in Today’s Digital World,” a primer for businesses that are ready to scale, and how to implement digital solutions for accounting, payroll, expense tracking, project management, document management and security.
In January, the much of the focus will be on ecommerce, as the EEC partners with Shopify for a mini-series of webinars on how to best run your business online. These workshops are free to EEC members, $10 for non-members:
- Optimizing Conversions with Cynthia Loiselle-Séguin, support campaign coordinator for Shopify (Jan. 11)
- Future-proofing Your Business with Loiselle-Séguin (Jan. 25)
And on Jan. 12, you can join the EEC on Facebook Live for a “Startup Story of Symbiosys Consulting Founder Stewart Belsham.”
