Arlington,Virginia-based DivvyCloud moved its corporate headquarters into a larger workspace, and announced plans to double its employee count.

Founded in 2013, the company is the developer of technology to automate and manage cloud infrastructure that businesses use to improve security. DivvyCloud reports raising $29 million in venture capital to-date, including its $19 million Series B growth round announced back in May.

DivvyCloud cut the ribbon on its new 13,000-square-foot office at 2111 Wilson Blvd. on Sept. 30. Virginia State Senator Barbara Favola, Arlington County Board Member Matt de Ferranti and NBC Washington’s Drew Wilder joined DivvyCloud at the official ribbon cutting.

“Our people have powered our growth and we have designed our new headquarters to empower them to do their best work,” said DivvyCloud CEO and cofounder Brian Johnson in a statement. “Our new headquarters are in an ideal location, allowing us to tap into one of the most diverse groups of highly skilled, entrepreneurial talent pools in the nation as we expand our workforce.”

This new office is a major upgrade from it’s previous 2,000-square-foot space in Rosslyn, Virginia. The company is Virginia-grown, being led by cofounders Johnson and Chris DeRamus, DivvyCloud’s CTO, who both reside in the Commonwealth.

The tech company reports that it acquired the extra office space in anticipation of doubling its workforce over the next 12 months. Since last year, DivvyCloud has grown from 20 to 55 local employees, and wants to gain 65 more employees by next year.

“As a company dedicated to innovation, we are especially eager to hire more engineers to help expand our product portfolio and deliver even more value to our customers,” DeRamus said in a press release. “Since the majority of our direct competitors have been acquired, DivvyCloud is uniquely positioned as a well-funded company exclusively focused on advancing enterprise solutions in the cloud security posture management category.”

DeRamus said DivvyCloud is also looking to expand its customer success, sales and marketing teams to support the growing demand.

DivvyCloud’s employment expansion plans will help the company manage its growing customer base, which the company reports has doubled since last year and includes customers like Kroger, Pizza Hut, Fannie Mae, Discovery Communications, GE, Twilio and Autodesk. Half of the company’s customer base are Fortune 100 or Fortune 5oo companies, according to DivvyCloud.
