Here are the awardees of Delaware Valley Engineers Week

The Philadelphia region is home to about 100,000 engineers. The Engineers' Club of Philadelphia celebrated them late last month during Delaware Valley Engineers Week, part of National Engineers Week.

The Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia celebrated them late last month during Delaware Valley Engineers Week, part of National Engineers Week.

The Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia has been hosting Delaware Valley Engineers Week since 2008. Below, find a list of awardees.

Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year: Suzette M. Schultz, of Delaware County, Pa. and senior project manager at AstraZeneca.

Delaware Valley Young Engineer of the Year: Philip M. Gonski, PE, of Philadelphia, Pa. and project manager at Keystone Engineering Group, Inc.

Hall of Fame: Vukan R. Vuchi, Ph.D., of Swarthmore. Vuchi is the Emeritus UPS Foundation Professor of Transportation Systems Engineering and Professor of City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania.

Outstanding Service Award: Ruben David, PE, of Northeast Philadelphia. David recently retired as a project director in the Department of Public Property for the City of Philadelphia.
