8 Delaware food trucks to follow on Instagram

Is it lunch time yet?

The weather is cooling down and the farmer’s market at Rodney Square is no longer gathering on Wednesdays. But never fear, food trucks are still making appearances even though they are getting fewer and further in between.
Here are eight food truck Instagram accounts to keep the memories of outdoor eating alive year round:

WiLDwich

This Wilmington-based truck is known for its sandwiches, and this salad appears to be a healthier iteration of their T. Rex steak sandwich.

Kapow!

Kapow is an Asian fusion food truck that is best known for its kimchi tacos and egg rolls. Sometimes, during the summer, the truck will offer spiced soft shell crab sliders. If you like your food spicy, you might want to ask them go hard on the sauce.

Uncle John’s BBQ stand

This no frills food truck is known for its barbecue. Uncle John’s keeps it real with a classic tomato-based chili bread bowl topped with cheddar cheese and joined by a side of corn chips.

Sweet Josephine’s

This food truck is a little sweeter than the others. Below are their glitter cake pops, which almost look too pretty to eat!

I Don’t Give a Fork

Boy, do I love a good pun. Regardless of what this truck’s name might imply, though, you will probably need to use a fork to consume their maple drizzled sweet potato fries with a side of brunch bacon.

UDairy Creamery’s Moo Mobile

The Moo Mobile is the University of Delaware’s creamery, which is housed within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Newark. Here is their delightful and autumn-appropriate apple cider ice cream on some apple cider donuts.

Cajun-Sno

This food truck delivers all your Cajun favorites, from savory to sweet. Pictured below are their spiced apple dumplings, which I have yet to taste, but this Insta makes them look super appetizing.

The Brunch Box

Ever wish you could have brunch during non-brunch hours? This food truck has you covered. From a variety of egg presentations to sausage flavors like ginger sage with arugula on a bun, we’re smitten.
