Last year, we introduced the inaugural Delaware Innovation Awards at Delaware Innovation Week. Well, we just had them again this year, so that makes it an annual thing now (you’re stuck with us now, Delaware. Sorry not sorry.)
We shared the list of nominees that you, our readers, so graciously voted on. It was a star-studded guestlist at the Delaware Innovation Awards with all of our nominees in the house at Friday’s celebration hosted by 1313 Innovation.
Here are the ones that took awards home:

- Tech Startup of the Year went to COAKT
- Technologist of the Year went to Pauline Himics of First Ascent Design
- Tech Business of the Year went to ChiroFusion
- Innovative Corporate of the Year went to JPMorgan Chase
- Tech Mission Org of the Year went to Girl Develop It Wilmington
- Dev Product of the Year went to Open Data Portal
- Design/Dev Firm of the Year went to First Ascent Design
- Colocation Community of the Year went to The Mill Space
- Indie Video Game of the Year went to Blind Blades by Heavy Key Studios
- Innovative Creative Group of the Year went to The Kitchen
- Tech Meetup of the Year went to Delaware Tech Meetup
