It’s shaping up to be an interesting week — we’ve chosen some cool events featuring groups we haven’t highlighted recently (save for Philly Startup Leaders and PACT, but it’s notable that the two groups are doing an event together).
This week: artificial intelligence enthusiasts talk machine learning, local organizations talk online marketing and the startup world and the corporate world talk partnerships.
Crowdsourcing Change: In this recurring Net Tuesday meetup event, three organizations will talk about how they’re using online marketing to further their mission, followed by a group discussion. This week’s presenters are: Career Wardrobe, the Southeast Asian American Digital Archive and 1812 Productions. Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street. Center City. RSVP. Free.
The Secrets to Successful Partnering Between Tech Startups and Corporate America: In this panel discussion from Philly Startup Leaders and the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT), learn about how startups and corporations can work together. Thursday, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Quorum at the Science Center, 3711 Market Street, Floor 8. University City. RSVP. Free.
A.I. Winter on “An Inductive Inference Machine:” It seems the machine learning event is kind of hot in Philly right now (read our recap of last week’s introduction to machine learning event here). Here’s another chance to get into the machine learning scene. It’s a little more in-depth (the group asks you to read a paper beforehand and come with questions) but should be a good opportunity to get a hold on the machine learning landscape. Thursday, 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Comcast Center, 45P, 1701 JFK Blvd. Center City. RSVP. Free.
