Tweet the hashtag #BeatsHoliday and you’ll light up a New York City Christmas tree made of portable wireless speakers.
It’s the work of Center City marketing agency allen & gerritsen, who is known for its playful uses of social media. The team tracked cheer through Twitter last holiday season and most recently, played Tic-tac-toe using Instagram and RFID. allen & gerritsen’s Philly office used to be marketing agency Neiman until the companies merged last summer.
The allen & gerritsen tree, located inside of the Beats By Dre flagship store in New York City, also features Instagram photos that are hashtagged #BeatsHoliday.
