A handful of South Korean startups came to Philly last month, and now its time for South America to strut its stuff.
“Philly X Chile: Meet the Tech Innovators of Chile” is the name of the upcoming event organized by the Chilean and American Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
“Join us to meet and network with those who have contributed to Chile’s groundbreaking leadership of information technology in Latin America,” reads the event invite.
Billed by Forbes as one of the most underrated cities in Latin America, Santiago has been taking steps to build out its “Chilecon Valley” (heh). Maybe Philly entrepreneurs can relate to that underdog sentiment.
Here’s the lineup of speakers:
- Cristian Ferrer, CEO, Tecnova Global Solutions
- Benjamin Leavenworth, Honorary Consul of Chile and Chief Relationship Officer for Afina International
- Martin Lewit, CEO, Ki Teknology
- Ubaldo Taladriz, CEO, EXE
