These 15 tech companies are hiring out in the Philly suburbs

For a long time, Philadelphia proper was a startup wasteland.
Much of the activity (and dollars) was concentrated out in the suburbs, specifically the 202 Corridor, stretching from West Chester to Fort Washington.
But times have changed. The city is now the startup darling. But a pair of tech companies want to remind jobseekers that hey, tech still exists out here.
Cloud services company Evolve IP and recruiting firm Intelligent Capital Network are hosting C Cubed (Chester County Connects), a job fair at Evolve IP’s Wayne headquarters today from 3-7 p.m. It’s specifically focused on hiring for companies in and around Chester County.

(Its branding looks a lot like tech job fair Uncubed, but the two are not affiliated, a spokeswoman said.)
The overall mission is to retain college grads in the Philly area, said Evolve IP’s Guy Fardone through a spokeswoman. It’ll be interesting to see how efforts like this fare, especially since we’ve seen recent college grads largely choose the city over the suburbs.
