There’s new leadership at Anne Arundel County’s startup incubator.
Michael Tentnowski was named executive director of the Chesapeake Innovation Center, the organization announced Wednesday.
Tentnowski comes to the Odenton-based incubator from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where he managed the university’s business incubator. He also taught at business classes at the university.
Since moving to a new location near Fort Meade, the CIC has signed new companies including QuotePie, MedEx Spot and Hippocampus Analytics to its Collaboration Hub program.
Former executive director Laura Willoughby stepped down after a yearlong tenure at the end of 2014 after accepting a new position at digital marketing firm Enradius in Baltimore.
