Canvas rolls out a PDF designing tool for business receipts

As it turns out, receipts and invoices are “unused digital real estate.” Canvas wants to help companies showcase it.

Reston-based Canvas, a company that designs mobile apps for businesses, launched a new tool that helps companies showcase their crown jewels: invoices, receipts and other business data.
The PDF designer allows companies to create documents infused with their own colors and motifs, with links, images and even coupons.
“There’s nothing else like this,” said Canvas cofounder Chris Morrisette in a press release last Thursday.
