Between Two Founders: Patrick Rife talks about the vision guiding Pixilated

In the latest 'Side Stories' episode of the video series, the cofounder stops by Kapowza for some conversation and a taste of the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich.

In the sophomoric episode of Between Two Founders: Side Stories, host Sean Sutherland speaks with Patrick Rife, cofounder of Baltimore-based event technology services company Pixilated. Unlike the regular Between Two Founders series, the Side Stories offshoot focuses on local Baltimore luminaries building a business, brand, or movement within the city and doesn’t necessarily have to be startup-focused.

Sutherland, director of accounts for local creative agency Kapowza, asks about Rife’s journey as a musician, its impact on entrepreneurship, navigating the tricky waters of an event services and technology startup, Pixilated’s move into highway rest-stops and what he fears most: death. The pair also taste-tested the new Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich which has caused all sorts of violence and mayhem — all for the chance to sample this new threat to the chicken sandwich throne. Was it worth it?
