In the latest episode of Between Two Founders, the video series featuring conversations with local startup founders from the greater Baltimore region, host Sean Sutherland speaks with Michael Ogunsanya. He’s the CEO of MindStand Technologies, which uses an proprietary AI engine to monitor an organization’s internal communications to identify harassment, hate speech, suicidality, low engagement, and other areas of concern. The company was recently highlighted in this article.

Sutherland, director of accounts for Kapowza — a local creative agency startup — asks throughout the video about MindStand Technologies’ mission, what it’s like balancing the demands of being a student/entrepreneur, if Ogunsanya watched “Watchmen” on HBO, and what it’s like being a part of the latest Johns Hopkins’ Social Innovation Lab cohort.

Sutherland’s thoughts on the episode:

I originally met Michael back at the Innov8MD event last year and I’ve been following MindStand ever since. He’s a great example of some of the best student-led startups that this region can produce, which is a true testament to the strength of our university-led entrepreneur programs. He knew how to roll with the punches and I’m sure will lead MindStand to some great successes in 2020.
