Barrel of Makers wants to teach you how to run a workshop

You can have a creative side hustle and learn how to teach with BoM.

We told you about Barrel of Makers hiring instructors last year. If you thought about applying but you weren’t 100 percent sure about your instructional abilities, don’t worry. BoM wants to bring you out of your shell.
In an effort to bolster volunteer and instructor ranks this year, the maker meetup is hosting a workshop to help you with the ins and outs of running a meetup and running a workshop. So far, it’s been mostly the work of Taras Wallace and founder Jessica Taylor.
But now, the idea is to open up the floor for more people to get involved.
Interested in training? Great! There’s a workshop in a couple of weeks and it will be hosted at 1313 Innovation on Jan 16 at 6 p.m.
